On Saturday December 17 children involved with Beatitude House programs were given the opportunity to “shop” for gifts for their mother. Through the generosity of the community, a variety of items were collected for children to choose from.
Santa’s Workshop began as a way to honor the late founder of Beatitude House, Sr. Margaret Scheetz. Sr. Margaret’s family collected gifts that first Christmas and the event has been growing ever since.
“It’s wonderful to see the community support for this event,” said Casey Bertolette Development Director.
