Permanent Supportive Housing

Beatitude House provides a place to call home for homeless women and their children. Through our Permanent Supportive Housing, we support and improve the quality of life for individuals experiencing personal and economic hardships. Our program is designed for individuals with a long history of homelessness due to persistent challenges such as a disability or chronic medical problems. These individuals need extra time and attention to deal with the barriers to success they face every day. There is not limit on how long a family can stay.

Services

We provide on-site housing and apartment units throughout the Mahoning Valley. Women participating in the Permanent Supportive Housing program receive various support services including regular home visits from a staff member.

A lease agreement is arranged and if she becomes able to maintain her life without support from Beatitude House, she may leave the program and keep her housing. In addition, we help with apartment furnishing and those stay with the family if they graduate from our program.

To aid women in reaching their goals, this program also offers support services for families, including case management, budgeting, and time management to maintain stability and prevent housing loss.

Eligibility

To qualify for Permanent Supportive Housing, an individual must be homeless with a documented disability.
